Join Ulrik for a Weekend Full of Handstands!

This weekend workshop is structured as a two-day event that will be suited for new and already practiced participants.

Weekend Learning Objectives:

  1. Principles of alignment, balance, and entrance

  2. Specific form cues that YOU need to think about to improve

  3. Handstand exercises and how to get the most out of them

  4. How to structure your handstand training

  5. The one key to unlock your straight-line 1 minute handstand (keys sold separately)




    WHO IS THIS FOR?

    NO PREREQUISITES, however, this workshop is a mixed-level workshop.

    You are considered a beginner if:

    • Inconsistent balance freestanding handstand >10s

    • 30s chest-to-wall hold is recommended for the workshop but not required

      You are considered intermediate if:

    • You can find balance freestanding with a decently straight line and are comfortable being on your hands/ being upside down


DAY 1: GET YOUR HANDSTAND PRACTICE STARTED

(FEB 3 4:0OPM- 6:30PM)

Have you always wanted to do a handstand, but are not sure where to start? Or maybe you can do a handstand but the balance is inconsistent or your form has room for improvement? Ulrik is teaching a two-day handstand workshop in which you will learn the best and most effective drills to balance on your hands in a straight line.

On day 1 we will focus on the fundamental understanding of the practice.

DAY 2: HANDSTAND BEYOND THE STRAIGHT LINE

(FEB 4 11:00AM-1:30PM)

On day 2 we continue where we left off on day 1. There will first be a proper warm-up and repetition of the most important lessons from day 1. Then we continue with basic shapes before we move on to press-focused practice. After that, we have time for individual practice with feedback.

WHICH DAY SHOULD I SIGN UP TO?

The weekend workshop is meant as a two-day event.

However, if you are unable to attend both days you can sign up for 1 day only

Day 1 is more focused on introductory concepts of the handstand.

Day 2 is a continuation of day one expanding on the practice and where it can go.
